My Big Announcement! Part 2 – CGA – Centre for Global Action

The Centre for Global Action is a program facilitated and coordinated by Adventures in Missions for young adults who have completed the World Race. It seeks to propel people like myself into our kingdom callings and utilize our gifts and strengths long after the Race has finished.

Through CGA, I will be focused on growing in the following areas: Discipleship, Leadership Development, and Inner Transformation, while bringing a missional mindset wherever I go, as well as working part-time within the community of Gainesville, GA.

So, what does this look like?

Discipelship: Through regular meetings with an assigned mentor I will be continuing my spiritual growth and accountability. In turn, I will also seek to intentionally disciple those that God puts in my path.

Leadership Development: I will be taking classes that focus on sharpening my leadership skills with the goal of using these in my future endeavours.

Inner Transformation: My desire is to look more and more like Jesus every day. I will be challenged in new ways and pushed out of my comfort zone to continue the growth that was jump started on the World Race.

It is my desire to continue to grow spiritually and emotionally while bringing the kingdom of God wherever I go, and I cannot effectively do this without your prayer and support.

While working part-time will help to offset the cost greatly, I will need to raise a total of $5,950 which will go towards tuition, administration fees, and housing costs.

As I will have 6 months at home before CGA starts, my plan is to work full time and to plug myself into my home community missionally as much as possible to sustain my growth from my time on the World Race.

My commitment to you will be regular updates on my blog of my journey and growth, both during and after CGA is finished.

Please prayerfully consider supporting me financially on this new journey that God has called me on after my Race.

Thank you and God Bless,
Patricia
